Current QuickBooks Online Clients simply invite Lone Star Bookkeeping to be their accountant, sync their bank account and we start the clean-up, maintenance process. If you don’t have a Quickbooks Online account we are able to send you an invite for an easy set-up.
Almost everything is digital/virtual; not limited to local community-based clients; because it is all in real time, any reports needed are available to us. You’ll also have a bookkeeper at hand for questions, financial reports, information needed for financial institutions, returns filed, etc.
Financial Reports are available to Client’s through their QuickBooks online account. No need to wait it to come in an email, it’s available to you or your banker 24/7 since it is on-line based and all our work is done in real time.
Is an “internal office-audit” to make sure all records are as accurate as possible, the numbers ‘add up’ and information relayed to the client is as detailed and correct as can be.
Laura leads the office in monthly, quarterly and annual filings for all clients. From tending to the overview and finalization of clients profit and loss forms to switching into tax season mode, Laura is able to provide every client with exceptional financial insight and assistance throughout the whole year.
Austin leads the office in everything technology, marketing, recruitment and operation management. From presenting new software and training, online capabilities and document management, Austin is able to help things run efficiently and prepare for the future.
Nick leads the back end of the office. From maintaining accurate Quickbooks financial data to onboarding new Quickbooks Online Clients, Nick is able to play a key role in providing financial insight to our clients.
When are state and federal taxes typically due?
Sales tax is due either monthly, quarterly or annually depending on the set up; payroll taxes for both federal and state are quarterly and business federal income taxes are due by March 15 and Personal federal income tax is due by April 15th. Franchise taxes are due May 15th.Truckers are due Aug 31. IFTA us due quarterly.
Do you only service Lubbock?
No, we have clients all over West Texas. Mainly in Lubbock, San Angelo, Midland, Odessa, Abliene and towns surrounding Lubbock.
How do I know what tax forms I will need to be using?
It varies depending on the industry you are in, the type of business you are, if you have employees, contractors etc. There are many forms that are required for some businesses but very little for others.
When should I turn in or email all my paperwork?
Along with bank statements if you are not on QBO.
